Who is this program for?
This program is designed for beginner-level Hebrew learners, including:
- Complete beginners with no prior knowledge of Hebrew.
- Learners who have started studying Hebrew but feel they still lack a solid foundation in the language.
What skills will I acquire?
The program focuses on mastering all key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. These are the essential building blocks for reaching a beginner-level foundation.
What study materials are used?
After years of teaching experience, I developed a unique learning method and created custom worksheets tailored for beginners. Each worksheet focuses on a foundational topic such as family, food, transportation, emotions, weather, clothing, and visiting the clinic.
How many hours should I study per week?
Since Hebrew is a new language, consistent exposure is crucial. While one hour a week can work, progress will be much slower. We recommend attending at least two sessions per week. Ideally, the more sessions you attend, the better! You can join sessions daily or stick to twice a week as a good starting point.
How long does it take to complete the beginner level?
This depends on several factors, including prior knowledge, weekly session attendance, and completing homework.
- For complete beginners attending two sessions weekly, it may take around 5 months to complete the beginner level.
- Daily attendance can reduce this time to around 3 months.
- For learners with some prior knowledge, the timeframe may be shorter.
What if I have questions or need clarification?
You can ask questions anytime in our private group and receive direct support from Aviv. This ensures you’re never left wondering and always have access to help when you need it.
What happens after completing the beginner level? Do you offer advanced levels?
Currently, our focus is on the beginner level. However, we plan to expand and introduce higher levels in the future.
Why group lessons?
We believe in the power of group learning. A group environment encourages learners to push each other, practice speaking with confidence, and step out of their comfort zones.
- Our groups are small (up to 8 learners), ensuring personalized attention for everyone.
- Groups are carefully matched by level to create a supportive and homogenous learning environment.
Are these lessons suitable for absolute beginners who don’t know the Hebrew alphabet?
We recommend joining the program with at least basic familiarity with the Hebrew letters. Fluent reading isn’t necessary, but a basic understanding will make learning smoother.
How is personal support provided?
Between sessions, you can ask questions in our private group and receive direct assistance from Aviv. Additionally:
- Every student receives a personalized learning plan.
- Aviv monitors your progress monthly through a short knowledge test and a personal feedback session.
Will the schedule fit my availability?
We offer multiple sessions daily, so you can choose the ones that fit your schedule. Whether you want to attend one or multiple sessions a week, it’s entirely up to you.
Are the lessons divided by level?
Yes, the beginner level is divided into three sub-levels. During your consultation call, Aviv will recommend the best level for you. If you’re not a complete beginner, we encourage you to try different levels for broader exposure.
What if I miss a session? Will it affect my progress?
Our lessons are structured in three sub-levels, and each lesson is independent. Missing a session won’t hinder your ability to follow the next one. Each class introduces a unique topic with new vocabulary, so you can jump back in without worry.
Do I need to complete a consultation call before registering?
Yes, the consultation call is essential to ensure this program is the right fit for you. The call allows us to understand your background, goals, and current level, and to recommend the best approach for your learning journey. It’s not a sales call, but an opportunity for us to make sure the program aligns with your needs.
What will I be able to do in Hebrew by the end of the program?
By the end of the program, you’ll have a strong foundation in Hebrew that enables you to:
- Understand and participate in everyday conversations, such as ordering food, asking for directions, or discussing plans with friends and colleagues.
- Confidently navigate more detailed interactions, such as arranging appointments or describing personal experiences.
- Read and comprehend basic texts, public signs, and simple articles in Hebrew.
- Build clear sentences using essential vocabulary and grammar structures.

Once a month, we conduct a personalized evaluation to review your goals, track your achievements, and fine-tune your learning plan. In addition to this structured assessment, you’ll receive ongoing feedback during lessons, ensuring you’re consistently improving and staying on track. This combination of regular evaluations and real-time feedback supports your steady progress in Hebrew.
